“Historic Christianity is a religion of mystery,” says theologian Kenneth Samples. There are aspects of Christian thought which present questions which we must consider both in faith and in logic. Christian thinkers have attempted to provide answers to those mysteries which respect both faith and logic. At the monthly gathering of the Shreveport Chapter of Reasons To Believe, Mark Riser will explore two of those mysteries and some suggested answers in the presentation “Aren’t Theological Mysteries Just Logical Contradictions?” as part of our continuing study of Kenneth Samples book Christianity Cross-Examined. The gathering will take place on Tuesday, May 10 at Shreveport’s Brookwood Baptist Church at 6:30 pm. This promises to be a thoughtful presentation and if you are in the area, we cordially invite you to attend.
