How did Christianity become a world movement in such a short historical time? Was it a natural or a supernatural phenomenon? It turns out that it was a combination of both. Kenneth Samples says, “The faith didn’t emerge as the result of social or political influences, and it wasn’t merely a new variation of Jewish or pagan religious practices.” The Shreveport Chapter of Reasons to Believe will continue their discussion of Kenneth Samples’ book Christianity Cross-Examined with “Was the Emergence and Spread of Christianity Natural—or Supernatural?” at their next gathering on June 14, 2022 at 6:30 pm. Bob Wolf will lead the discussion and it will take place at Shreveport’s Brookwood Baptist Church.
