The very first verse of Genesis says that God created “the heavens and the earth.” This leaves us with a few questions. Where did the universe come from? Did God use the Big Bang to create everything we see? Dr. Hugh Ross believes the answers to these questions will enhance the credibility of the Biblical account of creation. On Tuesday, March 14, the Shreveport Chapter of Reasons To Believe will gather to discuss the question “Does the Big Bang Contradict the Bible?” Dr. Bruce Hennigan will lead the discussion along with a video presentation from Dr. Hugh Ross as part of our Navigating Genesis series. The gathering will begin at 6:30 pm at Shreveport’s Brookwood Baptist Church. This promises to be a significant and lively discussion and if you are in the area, we cordially invite you to attend.
