Christians are often accused of being anti-intellectual. Critics of the Christian worldview say that believers operate on blind faith. But, Scripture and Christian thought relate faith to reason in big ways. In fact, the Christian worldview has shaped the scope of Western intellectual culture. Kenneth Samples discusses this in his book Christianity Cross-Examined. The Shreveport Chapter of Reasons to Believe will explore this issue at our next chapter gathering on Tuesday, March 8 at Shreveport’s Brookwood Baptist Church.
