“Acknowledge that the Lord is God. He made us and we belong to him, we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise. Give him thanks. Praise his name. For the Lord is good. His loyal love endures, and he is faithful through all generations” (Psalm 100:3-5, NET).
This is the week of Thanksgiving. As we begin this week, I hope that you begin to think today of the things for which you can be thankful.
…I am thankful for my family and the new addition to our family, our new granddaughter Everleigh.
…I am thankful for my church, where I have the opportunity to serve and use my spiritual gifts.
…I am thankful for the ministry of apologetics which I have been given and the influence that I have had in the lives of believers.
…I am thankful for the spiritual and material blessings which I have been given by the hand of God.
Most of all, I am thankful that Jesus Christ has made me a child of God through His sacrificial death on the cross and His glorious bodily resurrection.
Be thankful this week!
