In addition to my regular Bible reading and study materials, this is what I am reading right now.
Believing Philosophy: A Guide to Becoming a Christian Philosopher, Dolores G. Morris. This is an invitation to reading and studying philosophy to help believers voice and defend their faith with intellectual rigor.
An Introduction to Christian Philosophical Theology, Stephen T. Davis and Eric T. Yang. Two professors of theology employ the methods and tools of philosophy to study Christian theology.
God the Trinity: Biblical Portraits, Malcolm B. Yarnell III. Dr. Yarnell explores the Biblical passages from which the Trinity is revealed to give us a foundation for this ultimately important Christian doctrine.
Unrestricted Warfare, James F. DeRose. The United States Navy’s submarine force, despite conservative peacetime training and defective equipment, grew in aggressiveness and combat skills to be a potent force during World War II in the Pacific.
Mountains Touched With Fire: Chattanooga Besieged, 1863, Wiley Sword. A leading Civil War historian recounts the pivotal campaign in the central theater of the war and the continuing emergence of Ulysses S. Grant.
All these may take a bit of time.
